Brazilian fan of Harry Styles is arrested for sending more than 8 thousand letters to the singer

Myra Carvalho (35 years old), according to “The Sun”participated this Tuesday (20) in the hearing in which she is accused of committing the crime of harassment, characterized by stalking that caused serious alarm and anguish to the victim, Harry Styles.

The Brazilian has been in the custody of the British police since she appeared in court Higbury Corner Magistrates on January 23rd. The judge sent the case to be heard on April 19 at the Harrow Crown Courtboth courts in London.

Change in the singer's daily life

After sending more than eight thousand letters, handwritten or online and appearing in person twice in front of the singer's house to deliver two pieces of mail, according to “The Sun”, Harry needed to change his routine due to the persecution.

The website also recalls that the star already had to reinforce security when another fan forced entry into the same house where Myra went to deliver the letters.

Regarding the content of the letters, some had a more romantic writing, such as marriage proposals and others had a more intimate content, expressing the desire to have relations with the singer.

The accused participated in a hearing today (20) via video conference directly from the women's prison where she is held, HMP Brozenfield. Myra spoke only to speak her name, while lawyer Clementine Simon claimed that her client was experiencing a manic episode, in addition to questioning whether Myra is fit to respond to the lawsuit in court.

Myra's parents, according to the Daily Mail, appeared in court and were thrilled to see their daughter, as they didn't know that she had planned the trip, nor that she was causing all this trouble outside the country.
