Brazilian wins Emmy Award for Best Cinematography in The Crown

The Emmy awards began to be handed out last Saturday (11), with the Creative Arts Emmy ceremony, which focuses on the technical categories of North American TV productions. The work of Brazilian Adriano Goldman was consecrated on this first night of the awards, he took home the statue for best photography in a single-camera series with the Netflix series “The Crown”.

Adriano Goldman was honored for his work on the third episode of the series' fourth season, “Fairytale.” The Netflix historical drama ended the night with two Emmy statues.

Netflix was the top winner of the first round of the Creative Arts Emmys, taking home 12 wins, seven of which were for “The Queen's Gambit”a miniseries that became a phenomenon last year.

In second place is also the streaming service Disney+, with six wins, followed by HBO and Apple TV+, with four each. “The Queen's Gambit” was followed by, “The Mandalorian”, “Pose” and “Saturday Night Live”, who were tied with three statuettes each.

The Primetime Emmys, which deliver the main TV Oscar awards, will be held next Sunday, September 19th.
