Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard – better known as the Texan trio of ZZ Top – are back in action with more than 60 shows scheduled on the North American tour that begins in July and ends in May 2022.
There are more than 50 million albums sold worldwide, the band has had 8 hits in the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100, 6 in first place in Mainstream Rock and 3 in the MTV Video Music Awards. With a different guitar sound and satirical lyrics, the musicians stand out for their different look. The only group to have original members playing together for over 40 years, they prove that the third age of rock is still in top form.

The group's last work was the live album Tonite At Midnight: Live Greatest Hits From Around The World, released in September 2016 and his last performance was on Valentine's Day 2020, shortly before performances were suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, the rockers are eager to hit the road with their tour “Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame”.
After a break, the Texans will embark on the 2022 Canadian tour featuring the Cheap Trick. Dusty Hill commented: “They closed the door right after our 50th anniversary tour and now it's open again. We’re excited to go out and play our music for everyone.”
Frank Beard added: “To say we’re excited to get back on the road and perform in front of real people is the understatement of the last 16 months, if not the century.”. Billy Gibbons concluded: “ZZ is coming in strong. Let’s go”.
