Britney Spears may return to the stage in a duet with Elton John

After getting rid of her conservatorship, Britney Spears already has a date set for her return to the stage. The singer has not released anything since her album “Glory”, released in 2016. This time, according to Page Six, Britney is set to return in a duet with singer Elton John.

According to the newspaper, the singer is secretly recording the song “Tiny Dancer” released in the 72s, which will now be given a new look. The release is scheduled for next month.

“This was Elton’s idea, and Britney is a huge fan. They recorded a remix of ‘Tiny Dancer’ as a full duet – and it’s incredible,” a source said.

“Britney was in the Beverly Hills studio last week with Elton for the top-secret recording session overseen by super-producer Andrew Watt,” the source continued.

The producer Watt is responsible for iconic hits like “Havana” (Camila Cabello), “Midnight Sky” (Miley Cyrus), “Anyone” (Justin Bieber), among others. In addition to winning the 2021 Grammy Producer of the Year award.

It is important to highlight that Elton John recently returned to the charts with Dua Lipa. The music “Cold Heart” brought together a series of the singer’s old songs and became a huge hit.

The insider also commented that the song is expected to be another hit in the pop universe.

“They’ve already played it for people at her label, and everyone is freaking out. It’s so good,” the source joked. “They’re saying it’s going to be the song of the summer. Britney is officially back. She’s back to work and she’s super excited,” the source said.

Although the singer has not released anything since 2016, she has already given signs that she is ready to return after her nearly 14-year conservatorship, which prevented her from giving her opinion on her life and professional career. Earlier this month, Britney posted a homemade version of “Baby One More Time” on Instagram, where she commented, “I haven’t shared my voice in a long time… maybe too long,” the artist vented.
