Bruno Montaleone debuts in his first 6 o’clock telenovela, “Perfect Love”

Bruno Montaleone – In one of the main nuclei of the new soap opera at 6 pm on Globo, entitled “Amor Perfeito”, Bruno Montaleone returns, after success in “Verdades Secretas II”, and in a completely different role from the previous one, to the screens of the Rio station! In the story, he plays Ivan, lifeguard at the Grande Hotel Budapeste and brother of Gaspar (Thiago Lacerda) and Luís (Paulo Mendes).

With a questionable character, who doesn’t like to work, and spends most of his day focusing his energies on games of conquest, Ivan promises to get up to no good!

“Ivan does everything the opposite of what he should! He takes advantage of the fact that he works at the hotel to go out and flirt with the guests, I believe that his favorite place is the thermal waters, since, as you can see, he is not a bit professional and, in this space, he stays on his toes. I look at the girls in bathing suits. On the other hand, if there’s something amusing about Ivan, it’s that he doesn’t have much of a filter and speaks his mind, even though he knows he can take a hell of a beating. Because he has a lot of free time, he ends up observing many things around him, he suspects his father’s extramarital relationship, he knows that his younger brother is in love… which made me realize that Ivan is a huge gossip! (Laughs) Character deviations aside, he has a lot of comedic sides, and it’s been fun to play such a brazen and shameless guy because, in the end, in addition to being an example of a lot of things not to do, he it is the opposite of all the kindness, cordiality and elegance of the other character that I will be launching this year, and that I am loving playing: in this case, Ian, from ‘Perdida’, a Disney film that will be released in theaters”comments the actor.

Entering the early evening programming, in place of “Mar do Sertão”, the soap opera, which takes place in a period between the 1930s and 1940s, is inspired by the work “Marcelino Pão e Vinho”, by José María Sánchez Silva , and written by Duca Rachid and Julio Fischer.

The cast also features actors such as Thiago Lacerda, Mariana Ximenes, Paulo Gorgulho, Babu Santana, Carol Castro, Toni Tornado, in addition to Camila Queiroz and Levi Asaf in the lead roles.

I think that our plot has everything to be a super round 6 o’clock soap opera, I hope that the public embarks with an open heart on these stories of encounters and disagreements, what life is like! Also, it’s really cool to be part of a diverse cast, where representativeness matters, and a lot. This is because for a long time black characters were less prominent and, for the most part, always occupied less wealthy social classes. ‘Perfect Love’ comes to reinforce that black actors must not only have a leading position, but also have characters who occupy various positions in society. Personally, I can say that being on this telenovela is a great lesson! I love exchanging with the older and more experienced ones, and I take advantage of every second in the dressing room to talk with my beloved co-workers and the exchanges are being very pleasant. Working with Zezé again, up close, is being very nice! Our family scenes are fun, as they should be.”, he completed.
