“ This period of rest will offer the members of BTS, who have been tirelessly engaged in their activities, a chance to rest and replenish their creative energy. It will also be the first time for them, since the start of their career, that they will be able to spend the end-of-year holidays with their families. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all the fans who continue to cheer on BTS ,” the band’s record company said in a statement.

We do not know the exact date of BTS’s return or the release date of their next album, but we know that the group will present a concert in Seoul in March 2022.

Over the past year, BTS has notably collaborated on Coldplay’s song My Universe , in addition to earning a nomination for the upcoming Grammy Awards .

The hit Butter also allowed BTS to smash their own record by becoming the most-viewed music video in history within 24 hours of its release.
