Bungie decides to revive Marathon franchise with new game for PS5, Xbox Series and PC

Bungie returned to its roots and announced Marathon at PlayStation Showcase 2023. The franchise, created by it in 1994, will return with this new game for PS5, Xbox Series and PC at some point in the future.

Unfortunately not much was shown in the trailer, but we do know that this is a sci-fi PvP extraction and shooting game.

It is clear that this is an attempt by Bungie to create something to rival extraction games like Call of Duty’s DMZ mode, Escape from Tarkov and Hunt Showdown.
