Bvlgari celebrates new jewelry collection with artistic intervention by Brazilian in São Paulo

Bvlgari, one of the most renowned Italian jewelry companies, presents its latest jewelry collection, “Tubogas”, marked by the recovery of an iconic design created more than 80 years ago. To celebrate this launch in Brazil, the maison brought together tradition and innovation by inviting Brazilian artist Leandro Vigas for an artistic intervention entitled “Orbital”. The work, installed at Shopping Cidade Jardim, in São Paulo, reflects the connection between contemporary art and high jewelry.

Inspired by the tubular design that has become a symbol of Bvlgari, the “Tubogas” collection features sophisticated jewelry made in yellow gold and adorned with colored precious stones. The pieces, characterized by knotless links, combine the maison's artisanal mastery with a timeless aesthetic, reaffirming the brand's commitment to excellence in the luxury market.

Every detail of the collection refers to Bvlgari's tradition and innovative spirit, celebrating the balance between past and future.

Leandro Vigas, born in Joinville, Santa Catarina, is known for his interactive works that transform everyday elements into sensory experiences. In “Orbital”, the artist uses twisted tubes and sets of lights to create an installation that literally “embraces” visitors. The work dialogues directly with the tubular design of the “Tubogas” jewelry, uniting two creative universes.

The installation, equipped with motion sensors, allows visitors to control the tubes' internal lights, creating a personalized and unique experience. “It is an interaction that connects the public to the essence of art and design,” explains Vigas.

The artistic intervention will be open to the public until the first week of January 2025. More than an exhibition, the union between “Tubogas” and “Orbital” provides an immersive experience, where the beauty of jewelry merges with the expressiveness of contemporary Brazilian art .
