Campeonato Brasileiro 2023: how are the 20 clubs at the start of the competition

The national competition with the 20 best clubs in the country will start this Saturday (11/04). Some teams are at a high level, while others face certain crises.

See the details of each one of them:

America-MG: América is going well for the first round, was runner-up in the Minas Gerais championship and continues in the fearsome phase of the Copa do Brasil, in addition to having a beautiful start for the Copa Sudamericana.

Athletico-PR: It is the only undefeated among the 20 clubs, and has been carrying the title of the Paranaense championship.

Atlético-MG: The rooster continues with a flea behind his ear, even winning the state title, the club presents a possible departure of its coach in addition to debuting with defeat in Libertadores.

Bahia: The state title eased the club’s situation a little, as it was eliminated from the Copa do Nordeste and had problems reformulating the squad. Bahia still needs to fit in if they want to have a good start.

Botafogo:Follows badly with his coach and weak performances in the Copa do Brasil and Sudamericana. The club recently received the consolation title of the Rio Cup.

Coritiba:Coxa has the second worst performance among the 20 teams and its coach is close to being sacked.

Cruise: Raposa has the worst performance among the 20, with only 3 wins and brings a new coach to change the situation.

Flamengo: It is well below expectations and its coach is under pressure after the team was runner-up in all the titles it played.

Saints: With an average performance, Santos advanced to the third phase of the Copa do Brasil and had a suffered victory in the debut of the South American.

Basque: It is in a complicated situation, the club was eliminated in the Copa do Brasil and is unable to consolidate the squad.

Bragantino:Braga was eliminated by the Copa do Brasil but made a good debut for the Sul-americana and has reinforcements to improve the squad.
