Cardi B makes a surprise appearance at GloRilla's performance

This Sunday (20), rapper GloRilla's performance at American Music Awards had a surprise: the rising rapper was on the list of performances last Sunday, but no one was counting on the participation of the artist Cardi B in the presentation of “Tomorrow 2”. According to information from the portal “Popline”this feat was released in September 2022.

The song “Tomorrow 2” is a remix from the album “Gangsta Art”, released in July this year by GloRilla. The aforementioned website points out that the rappers, in the lyrics, carry verses that show confidence regarding their status and also humor.

At the event in question, GloRilla was singing alone when Cardi B got out of a car and surprised everyone present. The rapper's presence got the audience excited and both artists received a standing ovation.

GloRilla was nominated for the award for “Favorite Female Hip Hop Artist.” However, Nicki Minaj won.

According to “Popline”, the 2022 AMA's edition took place in Los Angeles, more specifically at the Microsoft Theater, in recognition of the best works in the music industry released between September 24, 2021 and September 22, 2022. The artist received her first nomination in the category “Favorite Latin Female Artist”, where she competed with Becky G, Kali Uchis, Karol G and Rosalía, and came out victorious. Thus, the Rio native became the first Brazilian to be nominated at the American Music Awards, one of the most traditional awards in the United States. In addition, the artist also performed her hits “Envolver” and “Lobby” on stage at the event.
