Carly Rae Jepsen Embraces Solitude on New Album “The Loneliest Time”

Finally back on the Fresh Pop playlists, Carly Rae Jepsen releases her sixth studio album entitled “The Loneliest Time” and again captures the public’s attention.

The Canadian singer's work arrived on streaming platforms this Friday (21). The new work has 16 tracks and a collaboration with singer Rufus Wainwright.

In a recent interview with the program q, with Tom PowerCarly states that the feeling of loneliness experienced during the isolation of the Covid-19 pandemic was one of the main motivations for choosing the topic. However, the singer reveals that throughout her life she maintained a feeling of curiosity and difficulty regarding loneliness. Artists are always on the road during tour periods, and for this reason, the singer believes that it is necessary to understand your relationship with loneliness and be comfortable with the feeling.

According to the owner of the hit “Call Me Maybe”, released in 2012, “The Loneliest Time” is a way of bringing out the motivating side of loneliness, as a way of encouraging growth and generating extreme reactions.

On social media, the launch is leaving many fans excited.

The single “The Loneliest Time”, the album’s title track released on October 7th, went viral weeks ago on the social network TikTok and gained good positions in Canada. The video clip, released on October 12th, is full of super playful and theatrical visuals, including a trip to the moon!
