Case between Britney Spears and her mother
Although Britney Spears is no longer under her father’s guardianship, some cases have yet to be settled through a judge. Three lawsuits are scheduled for July, including one between the singer and her mother.
On July 13, the case against Tri Star, the management agency that worked for years with father Jamie Spears, who was Britney’s supervisor for more than thirteen years, will be filed.
Mathew Rosengart, the singer’s lawyer, believes that Tri Star “has not cooperated in any way to reveal information about Britney Spears in order to create clarity”.
The singer says that during her guardianship period she had to work in Las Vegas, where she had to perform a lot, was not allowed to see anyone and received a financial allowance per week from her father, while she earned thousands of dollars daily from her work.
Case between Britney Spears and her mother in court in July
The case between Britney and her mother Lynne will take place on July 20. Lynne wants her lawyer’s fees of more than 550,000 euros to be reimbursed by her daughter, because she believes that the singer is ‘free’ again thanks to the lawyers she has hired.
Lawyer Rosengart sees it very differently. “In no way can it be demonstrated that the receivership, or rather the former receivership, can be held responsible for costs incurred by a third party, in this case Lynne Spears.
While Lynne was within her rights to engage her own legal team from her own money, there is no basis to put Britney in there now.
It’s a case between Lynne and her lawyers.”
Finally, on July 27, there is still a case about “things that will be further on the table”. Exactly what that day will look like is not yet known.
