CBF reveals the name of the interim coach of the Brazilian national team in a surprising announcement

A Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) will announce, next week, the name of the commander of the Brazilian Men’s Soccer Team. The future coach will lead the national team on an interim basis, during the 06 valid games, in 2023, for the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers. Carlos Ancelotti.

Ednaldo Rodriguespresident of the CBF, after 8 meetings with Carlos Ancelotti, coach of the Real Madrid, declared that the arrival of the Italian is already a fait accompli. Ancelotti’s contract with the Spanish club ends in the first half of 2024. After deciding with the Italian, the Brazilian Football Confederation waved to the formation of a technical commission with the aim of starting work prior to Ancelotti’s arrival. A Brazilian and a European were probed, but there were no possibilities to hire them.

The new commander supported the name of Ramon Menezes, but the negative results in the friendlies forced the CBF to draw up new plans. Ramon will return to lead the under-20 team. In three friendlies, Ramon lost two (Morocco It is Senegal) and won the selection of Guinea.

The name of the interim coach is very well kept and, according to the president of the CBF, it will bring many positive manifestations. Names like Fernando Diniz, Abel Ferreira, Jorge Jesus and Dorival Júnior have been extremely discussed and speculated in recent months, but nothing has yet been made official by the Confederation. President Ednaldo Rodrigues generated more doubts when he stated that no coach with a bond, in the current season of the Brasileirão, would be hired. It is thought that a name from Ancelotti’s current coaching staff could take charge of hopscotch, but these are just rumours.
