Celebrities are present at Variety's brunch; check out the looks

This Saturday (04), in Los Angeles, there was an exclusive brunch promoted by the magazine Variety in honor of rising directors in the film industry. The event, titled “Variety's 10 Directors to Watch and Creative Impact Awards brunch”, brought together Hollywood stars such as Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Jennifer Lopez, Zoë Saldaña, Selena Gomez, Zoë Kravitz, among others.

During the ceremony, Cynthia Erivo was honored with the “Creative Impact in Acting Award”, due to the roles she has played in Cinema, such as the witch Elphaba, in the film Wicked. Erivo received the award from her co-star, singer and actress Ariana Grande, who plays the witch Glinda. In her speech, Cynthia highlighted the importance of Elphaba for her career, in addition to the impact that the character had on the lives of children who were fans of the musical.

Honored directors

Variety honored 10 directors that the public should keep an eye on for 2025, including names with chances of being nominated for an Oscar, such as French screenwriter and director Coralie Fargeat, responsible for the horror “The Substance”, check it out:

Stars ooze style

With looks from luxury brands such as Chanel, Marni and YSL, the celebrities proved that Cinema and Fashion go hand in hand. Talent, luxury, glamor and a lot of celebration were the elements that marked the event.

Ariana wore a black Chanel dress, with a white flower highlighting the piece. The pearl necklace and classic bun gave the actress a retro look.

Cynthia opted for a yellow dress from the Italian brand Marni, layered with a blue coat and a white clutch bag. The color combination highlighted the singer's cool style, with huge nails and a shaved head.
