Controversies in the NFL in Brazil
After reports of players' dissatisfaction with Brazil, especially in relation to the high crime rate, confusion emerged on pages specializing in the NFL. These pages stated that the color green was prohibited due to gang associations. However, this claim was based on a misunderstanding.
The color green is associated with rival Palmeiras, and Corinthians fans were just joking about the possibility of the stadium being “invaded” by the rival team's color. Unfortunately, the page administrators did not understand the context of the jokes and spread the fake news. As a result, one of the teams ended up changing their colors to black and white as a precaution, as both teams have shades of green in their uniforms.

The game generated yet another controversy, the renowned athlete, LeBron James, posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) that the field where the game would be held was in poor condition due to slipping at the beginning of the match. Despite the explanation that the pitch was appropriate and that accidents could occur, the athlete did not delete the post.
But even with all these controversies, the Philadelphia Eagles won the game 34 −29 over the Green Bay Packers.
