American actress and singer Selena Gomez was wearing clear nail polish with a pink background on her nails when she was proposed to by music producer Benny Blanco in December 2024. The artist's longtime nail design, Tom Bachik, revealed on her profile on Instagram who used Chanel Le Vernis Longwear Nail Color in Ballerina to do her nails.

Departing from the conventional wisdom that every bride should wear light tones, American singer Demi Lovato proved that identity and her own style must prevail. The singer had her nails painted black when she revealed to the public that her then-boyfriend, Canadian singer-songwriter Jutes, had proposed to her in December 2023.
