“Chay Suede praises Travessia: Not bad!

The actor says that the character of Ari becoming a villain was not something sudden or from one moment to the next. He says that Ari already gave some clues, but it only became clear to the general public now. He said excitedly that he was waiting for this turn of events. Chay also denied that the soap opera's author, Gloria Perez, would have changed the direction of the characters and the story for audience reasons. Viewers were considering this version because on December 31, 2022, the soap opera reached the record for the worst audience for a 9pm soap opera on Rede Globo, reaching 14.48 ratings points. But Chay reinforced that it was already predicted that Ari would become a villain since the synopsis of the soap opera. Thus, Glória even celebrated on her social networks the fact that the soap opera reached 25 audience points in the preview.

Upon arriving at the Vogue Ball, the actor was surprised to hear “Ari, don’t steal Seu Guerra, no!”. The actor laughed and said during the interview that this has happened quite frequently on his social networks and on the streets, since in each episode the character shows his villainous side.

Chay also states that “Within today’s open TV audience, I think the numbers are ok.” When he was asked about the cast's relationship with actress Cássia Kis after her homophobic statements, political stance and criticism of co-workers, he frowned and ended the interview.
