The Town came to make history in Brazil, and no wonder. With that in mind, we've gathered together the best and biggest moments from the first weekend, for anyone who wants to see, revisit and have fun. They include a kiss between divas, fainting, tributes, Bruno Mars in his “Brazilian version” when singing in Portuguese and even “Evidências”.

Tributes to Marília Mendonça and MC Kevin

On Saturday, we had several attractions that rocked the stage at The Town, at the Interlagos race track. Luísa Sonza paid homage to Marília Mendonça on stage, queen of suffering who left the world two years ago in a tragic way. But of course it wouldn't stop there. Mc Hariel, MC Ryan SP and MC Cabelinho sang “Cavalo de Troia” in honor of MC Kevin, who died after falling from the 5th floor of a hotel, bringing shock to the public.

Ney Matogrosso was also present on The Town's The One stage, and was applauded by the public, which certainly made up for it when he was harassed at Rock In Rio, years ago, in 1985.

Iggy Azalea and her passion for Brazil

Iggy Azalea didn't hide her love for Brazil and its people when she took the stage, even more so when she put the song “Brazil” on the festival's setlist, singing and sending thousands of messages of love to the audience.

One of the biggest highlights of The Town's first weekend was performed by Demi Lovato and Luisa Sonza, who sang the launch duet, Penhasco 2. The duet brought complete excitement from the public, who supported Luisa Sonza and Demi Lovato in this duet.

Brazilian taking the stage to play with Post Malone

Daniel Figueiredo, brother of musician João Figueiredo and brother-in-law of Sasha Meneghel, took to the stage to fulfill his dream of singing with Post Malone. And not even the rain stopped the collaboration with the song “Stay”.

Post couldn't help but end the night by greeting everyone with handshakes and high fives, as he also did at Rock In Rio 2022, at the end of his performance.

In addition to singing with Demi Lovato, Bebe Rexha also asked Luisa Sonza to sing and dance with her. And to everyone's surprise, there was even a kiss between the artists.

Fake fainting during the show

For those who watched Veigh's show on the Factory stage, they must have been shocked. While performing “Jeito Bandido”, he seemed to start feeling ill and was removed by the staff. Despite the scare, everything was just an act, part of the show.

One of the most anticipated artists at the festival

Bruno Mars is certainly one of, if not the most anticipated at the festival. No wonder they added a day for him on the Skyline stage. Bruno ventured into Portuguese several times, saying he was shy and the keyboardist even played “Evidências” at one point, leaving the audience going crazy, ending The Town’s first weekend with mastery.
