Christina Aguilera is confirmed for the pre-Carnival event and will perform her first show in Brazil

American singer Christina Aguilera has been confirmed to be present at a pre-Carnival event called CarnaUOL 2025, which will be held in February next year. This moment will be very special for fans, as it will be the first time that the artist will make an official performance in Brazilian territory. Despite having already performed on the programs “Domingão do Faustão” and “Programa Raul Gil”, Aguilera never performed a full show in Brazil. The last time she was present in our country was to record an advertising campaign in 2011. And after many years of waiting, Brazilian fans will be able to enjoy a full Christina Aguilera show on national soil.

The show will take place at Allianz Parque in São Paulo on February 8th. According to the event organizers, details about ticket sales have not yet been announced. Fans are still waiting for more dates to be confirmed so they can follow the American singer as she visits Brazil. On the same day, Jamaican rapper Sean Pau, American DJ Steave Aoki, as well as Brazilian artists Ana Castela, Belo, DJ KVSH, Matuê and Tony Salles will be present at the event.

Aguilera recently released an EP and is preparing a new album

Christina Aguilera's first album, which has her eponymous title, is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2024. In celebration of the milestone reached in her career, the singer released a special EP in partnership with Spotify called “The 25th Anniversary of Christina Aguilera”. with six songs, one of which features Sabrina Carpenter. Notable for its technique and vocal range, the EP has hits such as”Genie in The Bottle”,”Dirrty”,”Pero Me Acuerdo en Ti” and “Lady Marmalade”. Christina is already working on her new album to follow “Liberation”, released in 2018. There is not much information about this new album; but the singer has already said that the new production will be in English after her last projects were in Spanish.
