CIN: how to get a new ID in Minas Gerais?

CIN: National Identity Card

The National Identity Card (CIN) will be a single document. It will use the CPF as a general registration for all states in Brazil. People must schedule an appointment and go to the identification offices in their region to request the document.

Current identity cards must be updated with CIN by 2032, as mentioned above. However, the Civil Police recommends that you exchange it for the National Identity Card as soon as possible.

It is important to note that on the day the document is issued, you must have your current CPF and your birth or marriage certificate on hand. Decide whether you want to receive the identity card at home by post or at an accredited service unit. In addition, take a 3×4 photo when issuing the CIN.

What documents should I take with me when applying for the CIN?
