Composer wins song with Marília Mendonça through bingo

Composer Pedro Carpelli released this Saturday morning (30), the unreleased song with singer Marília Mendonçal, entitled “Amante, Atual e Ex”, the song was a gift from Marília herself, who decided to pay tribute to one of her composers, gifting one of them with a song.

Pedro was able to record “Amante, Atual e Ex” in partnership with Marília Mendonça. The song is now available on all digital platforms.

In a video posted on Marília and Pedro's social media, the singer explains that during the recording of her 2019 album, “Todos Os Cantos”, she decided to pay tribute to the composers who helped her create the album. Marília Mendonça held a bingo, where one of the prizes would be the opportunity to record a song in partnership with the singer, which would be released on her own platforms.

The winner was Pedro Carpelli, who released “Amante, Atual e Ex”, with the singer, in addition to production by Eduardo Pepato, a renowned music producer within sertanejo music.

The news of the song, which came just over a year after Marília's death, moved fans, who were not expecting a new release with the singer's participation. “How good it is to see that your legacy is continuing to be built,” said a fan on Marília's Instagram. “Marília saw all those she sang with as great, without feeling superior. “Amante, Atual e Ex” already has more than 41 thousand streams on Spotify and around 15 thousand views on YouTube so far.
