Cranberries musicians pay tribute to Dolores

Not even death can make Cranberries fans forget the incomparable vocalist Dolores O'Riordan, who passed away in January 2018. In celebration of what would have been her 50th birthday – if she were alive, the singer would have celebrated her birthday last Monday (6) – her remaining friends from the band joined Universal Music and Island Records to pay tribute to her.

On the day of the celebration, the trio was very excited about the news they were about to announce. In a post with a photo that would be a preview of what will be the album cover, they wrote: “Happy 50th Birthday Dolores. To celebrate all she inspired and the joy she has given on her 50th Birthday, her bandmates, friends and family have put together a new playlist called ‘Remembering Dolores’ which is available now on all streaming platforms.”.

The project's compilation is made up of 15 songs chosen by friends, family and her bandmates with the aim of showing that Dolores was much more than what she showed on stage, she was multifaceted.

The feature film “Remembering Dolores” features 93 minutes of exclusive footage of the band that was compiled to be an added bonus to the tribute prepared for the artist. The video takes a journey through O'Riordan's 25-year career to tell moments of great inspiration and funny stories with clips, interviews and performances.

And it didn't stop there. Fergal Lawler, Mike and Noel Hogan have released a teaser for a new music video for the song “Never Grow Old”. The edit was made from compilations of never-before-seen archive footage. The sweet-voiced rocker shows a shy side that few have seen.

The year after O'Riordan's death, a farewell project entitled “In The End” was released. This work contained songs that she had been working on, a relief to the grieving hearts of her fans.
