And fans are going crazy this Thursday, in addition to Warner Bros release a new trailer for the Barbie feature film, where the actress Margot Robbie plays the Barbie doll and the actor Ryan Gosling brings the Ken doll to life. The singer Dua Lipa enters the scene in a music video as a Barbie in the single “Dance The Night“, a hit that is part of the film's soundtrack.

In the music video, the singer appears wearing a pink blouse and a miniskirt with a slit in a totally contagious dance with a party atmosphere. During the video, the singer appears in a pink convertible car, very similar to the one worn by the famous Barbie doll.

In addition to singer Dua Lipa, the film will feature singles from other artists such as Ava Max, Charli XCX, Dominic Fike, Fifty Fifty, Gayle, HAIM, Ice Spice, Kali, Karol G, Khalid, Lizzo, Nicki Minaj, PinkPantheress, Tame Impala, The Kid Laroi and even the actor Ryan Gosling will have music in the film.

In this version Margot and Ryan will play the original versions of Barbie and Ken in Barbiewhile the other dolls will be lived by Alexandra Shipp (X-Men: Apocalypse), Ana Cruz Kayne (Little Women), Emma Mackey (Sex Education), Hari Nef (Transparent), Issa Rae (Insecure), Kate McKinnon (Saturday Night Live), Nicola Coughlan (Bridgerton), Sharon Rooney (My Mad Fat Diary) and the singer Dua Lipa who plays Mermaid Barbie.

The Kens will be played by the actors Kingsley Ben-Adir (The OA), Ncuti Gatwa (Sex Education), Scott Evans (Grace and Frankie), Simu Liu (Shang-Chi). The actors Michael Cera (It's The End) and Emerald Fennell (The Crown) played Modge and Allan.

The director Greta Gerwing, of Little Women and Lady Bird, is responsible for directing the film. The filmmaker also wrote the script alongside Noah Baumbach.

The single is on “Barbie: The Album“, which is scheduled to be released on July 21, the same day the film hits theaters.
