Demi Lovato and Justin Bieber rock the 3rd day of Rock in Rio

The first weekend of Rock in Rio 2022 ended with a day dedicated to pop. The Palco Mundo stage ended the third day with singer Justin Bieber. With much suspense and rumors about the cancellation of his performance, Justin performed the show with the help of his fans. Before Bieber took the stage, another pop darling, Demi Lovato, excited the fans. This time, the singer showed that she is more than ready to face rock.

Demi Lovato took to the world stage at around 8:35 pm, wearing a head-to-toe black look, and accompanied by her all-female band, Demi performed a show with songs from her new album and rockier versions of hits from the audience's childhood.

The 30-year-old singer returned to Brazil with the tour for her album “Holy Fvck”. Before taking the stage at Rock Rio, Demi performed in São Paulo and Belo Horizonte. Demi's setlist was mixed with unpopular songs and interspersed with big hits, such as “Lala Land”, “Confident”, “Here We Go Again”, and “Don't Forget”.

In “Skyscraper”, Demi was moved by the audience who turned on their cell phone flashlights and sang a beautiful choir during the performance.

In the last block of the show, Demi sang the hit “Cool For The Summer” under the rain, which started to appear, but did not interfere with the end of the show.

Justin Bieber

He's here, Brazil! The singer's fans were only sure if Justin Bieber would perform at Rock in Rio at 11pm, when the singer's message appeared on the big screen on the Palco Mundo stage. After sharing a message of faith with his fans, Justin Bieber appeared singing “Sombody”, from the album Justice.

Then Bieber, with the song “Hold on”, the singer took off his sunglasses for the first time, to the delight of his fans. “Rio, how are you feeling? I'm grateful to be here today, we're going to have a great night”– Said Justin, before singing “Holy”.

From the moment he stepped on stage, in all of Justin's songs, the fans sang along in a beautiful chorus to each chorus. It was clear that the singer felt this exchange of affection. Justin put on a beautiful show, he sang, jumped, smiled, did his little dances and thanked the audience during breaks in his hits.

During the acoustic section of the show, Justin introduced the musicians who would accompany him during the performance of “Swap It Out“, “Love Yourself” and “Off My Face“. The fans performed the beautiful chorus, in “Love Yourself”.

Justin prayed “for Brazil” and appeared with messages about God and Jesus on the big screen. Before singing the hit “Peaches”, JB repeated “Thank You, Jesus” accompanied by his band.

Justin delivered an emotional show and received the affection of his Brazilian fans from start to finish. After an hour and a half, Bieber ended the show Marchando Feliz and was applauded by the audience as he waited for the fireworks to end before leaving the stage.
