Demi Lovato surprises with new style at The Town show

One of the most anticipated shows at The Town took place on Saturday night (02), the first day of the festival by the same creators of Rock In Rio. Demi Lovato arrives on the Skyline stage breaking away from pop and presenting her new look in an unprecedented way. The artist will release her newest album ''Revamped'' next Friday (15), which will feature the rock version of two of their greatest hits ''Heart Attack'' It is ''Cool For The Summer''.

The beginning of the show

With an all-female band, Demi Lovato kicks off the show to the tune of ''Confident'', with a guitar in her hand and lots of red lights on stage. The singer drove the audience at The Town, who had been waiting for her since early on, crazy with her impressive vocals.

Showing her love for Brazil, Demi featured blue, yellow and green details in her look, both on her coat and pants. Not stopping there, green also appeared in her makeup in the color of her eyeliner.

After the performance of Confident, Demi took a moment to greet the Lovatics (as her fans are called), and said: ''Hey guys, good night!''. Returning to her language then, she says: ''I'm very happy to be here with you''.

Complete with a hair flip, Demi Lovato brought heavy rock and a hint of sensuality to her performance of the song ''Eat Me'', a track that is part of her eighth studio album ''Holy Fvck''. In addition, the diva interacts with her guitarists, showing that she didn't go on stage to play around. Demi walks around every corner of the stage, facing the cameras at all times.

In ''Substance'' Demi interacts with her fans, raising the microphone for them to sing along. The audience shines with their festival wristbands as the show unfolds, making everything even more magical and the Lovatics do not fail to deliver, singing from start to finish. After the performance, she says ''You guys are the f###!''

Nostalgic energy takes over The Town

Demi thanks them in English saying that they have been fans of hers since her first album, as well as revealing her feelings upon stepping onto Brazilian soil: ''TEvery time I come to Brazil I feel so loved and so well received''. Declaring the song to the old Lovatics, Demi sang two of her biggest anthems of 2008, ''La La Land'' and later the iconic ''Don't Forget''.

Soon after, nostalgia took over the Skyline stage again. In a two-year transition, we went straight back to 2011 with the song ''Give Your Heart a Break''.

Cliff 2

After the iconic ''Sorry Not Sorry'' ,Demi then says that she will sing the song of a friend who has just released her new album. Calling Luísa Sonza, the two move the audience to the sound of Penhasco 2.

The two, in addition to having a hug in the middle of the stage, delivered spine-chilling vocals, resulting in the euphoria of the audience. After Cliff 2, Demi releases a ''You are beautiful'', thanks Luísa and then sits at the piano to sing the anthem ''Skycsraper'', from the year 2011.

Cool for The Summer and a statement to Brazilian fans

Revealing that she only has one more song, the artist ends the show with the long-awaited ''Cool For The Summer'' And says: ''Thank you for being so amazing to me, I love you guys.'' , she says in English.

After the performance, Demi walks around smiling and says “Thank you, São Paulo”, and continues thanking and waving to fans until she leaves the stage. What we can be sure of is that Demi Lovato, bringing her new look to The Town, managed to deliver an incredible and exciting show for the audience, especially with the older tracks that allowed the audience access to the pop diva's roots.
