Indonesia to demolish football stadium of deadly disaster after talks with FIFA

In the stadium of Malang it went wrong this month. Riots arose after a match between arch-rivals Arema FC and Persebaya Surabaya (2-3). Thousands of supporters stormed the field.

Many people were crushed when the police used tear gas to drive away the fans. The use of tear gas in stadiums is prohibited according to FIFA.

Indonesia will host the World Cup next year for players under twenty years of age.
