In relation to São Paulo, the maximum amount established for the vaccine is R$ 379.40. ABCVAC reported in a statement that clinics will take this value into account as a reference to determine the final price of the vaccine. This final price will also include services such as care, screening and analysis of the vaccination booklet, pre- and post-vaccination guidance, in addition to the support necessary to correctly inform patients about vaccination.

In clinical trials, the Qdenga vaccine demonstrated an overall efficacy of 80.2% in preventing dengue caused by any serotype. The vaccine also reduced hospitalizations by 90%. In December 2022, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) authorized the use of the vaccine in the European Union.

Dengue prevention: To prevent dengue fever, it is important not to allow standing water to accumulate anywhere, from large containers, such as water tanks and swimming pools, to small objects, such as bottle caps and potted plants. These measures help eliminate potential breeding grounds for the Aedes aegypti mosquito, responsible for transmitting the dengue virus.
