Deputy denounces harassment colleague through post on social networks

Yesterday Tuesday (11), Márcio Jerry (PCdoB-MA) was accused of harassment by fellow deputy Júlia Zanatta (PL-SC), during a meeting within the Chamber of Deputies itself.

The misfortune ended up happening while Zanatta was arguing with Lídice da Mata (PSB-BA), also a deputy, in the middle of a meeting of the Chamber’s Committee on Public Security and Combating Organized Crime, which was attended by Flávio Dino (PSB), minister of Justice. Meeting that was marred by turmoil.

The episode happened around 4 pm. Júlia published a sequence of images, which show the exact moment when Jerry approaches, approaching his colleague from behind, placing his face close to the back of her head.

I never gave freedom to that deputy and I didn’t even know what his name was, but he felt FREE to come up behind me.

“I never gave freedom to that deputy and I didn’t even know what his name was, but he felt free to come up behind me”, the deputy leader of the PL in the Chamber stated through a complaint in post with photo.

He further said that: “Lucky someone caught the absurd scene. If it were a left-wing deputy and a right-wing deputy: you already know, right?”.

Márcio Jerry also used the resource of social networks to discuss the accusations against him, seeking to refer to them as “absurd fake news”.

The deputy in question said the following: “The lady was shouting at deputy Lídice da Mata and I just said to the lady: “Please respect the deputy who has a history in Brazilian politics and here in the National Congress”. Absurd to attempt such an infamous and preposterous accusation”, verbalized in his defense on Twitter.
