Dior’s Spring 2025 show, held at the iconic Musée Rodin in Paris on September 24, was a perfect combination of fashion and performance. Under the creative direction of Maria Grazia Chiuri, the event showcased a balance between feminine strength and the power of the body in motion, all amidst the presence of renowned celebrities and an unforgettable moment with archer and performance artist Sagg Napoli.
The feminine force on stage
The star of the show was undoubtedly competitive archer and performer Sagg Napoli, who kicked off the event in dramatic fashion by walking down the runway carrying a bow and arrow. Wearing a one-shoulder top paired with a tight black skirt that flared out into straps at the bottom, and over-the-knee latex boots, Napoli epitomized the combination of fashion, power, and control. By shooting an arrow down the center of the runway, she brought to life the central message of Chiuri’s collection: the strength and autonomy of the female body. This gesture, which received enthusiastic applause from the VIP audience, reinforced the blend of fashion and sport, a clear inspiration from the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Chiuri’s show highlighted the duality between urban and sophisticated, with pieces that flirted with a 1960s aesthetic, such as asymmetrical cuts and monochromatic suits. Black and white dominated the palette, while metallic details and butterfly motifs offered a touch of delicacy amid the aggressive silhouettes. To top it off, lightweight jersey dresses with shiny embroidery brought the necessary lightness to a collection that balanced comfort and elegance.
Celebrities and style
Among the celebrities present, Natalie Portman, one of the brand's ambassadors, also captured the eye with a look that combined a Victorian bomber jacket with a skirt, creating a look that, despite being inspired by the collection's sporty spirit, evoked the luxury of haute couture. The actress expressed her admiration for the empowering atmosphere when she commented: “I'm a very small person, so I'm the opposite of an Amazon, but the spirit is alive and strong.”

In addition to Natalie Portman, other stars shone in the front row. Isabelle Drummond, Agnes Nunes, Rosalia and Anya Taylor-Joy were some of the celebrities who brightened up the event. Singer and actress Jisoo, a member of the group BLACKPINK, wore a set of shorts and a belt with long fringes, combined with shoulder pads inspired by the aesthetics of K-pop, complemented by boots that reinforced the bold style of the collection.
