Discover the Nominees for the 30th Brazilian Music Awards

Mark your calendars! On May 31st, the 30th edition of the ceremony will take place, which aims to celebrate the great musical variety of Brazil. After a four-year hiatus, the Brazilian Music Award returns to the stage of the Municipal Theater of Rio de Janeiro, to welcome artists from various regions of the country who will receive awards in 31 categories. With performances by Lázaro Ramos and Felipe Neto, the party will have as its main honoree the singer Alcione, who is celebrating 50 years of career. Among the nominees are Iza, Anitta, Roberto Carlos and many others. The Brazilian Symphony Orchestra together with Chico César remain in the lead with three nominations each.

The list of nominees includes artists from 18 states. This year, the celebration received more than 10 thousand entries, breaking the record for the number of artists registered. “The Brazilian Music Award is a great ally in stimulating culture”, said the creator of the award, José Maurício Machiline, who also stated that opportunities have increased with the event's return to support more artists.
