Discover TXT's surprising connection to Brazil and explosive collaboration with Anitta!

The world famous group of K-pop, Tomorrow X Togetheralso known as TXT, has been attracting the attention of the Brazilian public due to his collaboration with Anitta on the song entitled “Back For More”. However, the group’s ties with Brazil do not stop there.

This is because one of the group's members, Huening Kai, 21, is the son of a Brazilian man and a South Korean woman. Kai was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, but speaks Portuguese due to his father's influence.

Meet Huening Kai's father

According to Papel Pop, Nabil David Huening, Kai's father, has German roots but was born and spent his early years in Maranhão, Brazil. He moved to Texas, in the United States, while still a teenager. Later, at the age of 17, he embarked on a journey that took him to China, where he lived for more than a decade. Nabil is also a talented singer who has made his mark on Chinese television. There, he shared his passion and musical skills, especially related to the Baha'i religion, a faith originating in Iran. Nabil has performed on talk shows and even in television series. His talent and influence have not gone unnoticed, and in 2005, he was recognized as one of the 50 most influential foreign personalities in Beijing, according to the BAIDU website.

“Back For More”

The music “Back For More” is a collaboration between the group TXT and Brazilian singer Anitta. The music video was released last Friday, September 15, and already has 25 million views on YouTube. Before the official release of the music video, they performed together at MTV VMA 2023. Check out the performance:

Meet Tomorrow X Together

Tomorrow X Together, also known as TXT, is a South Korean K-pop group formed in 2019 by Big Hit Music.

The group consists of five members: Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai. Since their debut, they have released four notable studio albums:The Dream Chapter: Magic” (2019), “Still Dreaming” (2021), “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” (2021) and “Sweet” (2023). His fifth album, titled “The Name Chapter: FREEFALL“, is scheduled to be released in October this year. In addition, the group has also released a series of mini-albums and extended editions of their studio works.

Among TXT's greatest hits, we can highlight hits like “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)“, “Tinnitus (Wanna be a rock)“, “Farewell, Neverland“, “Anti-Romantic” and “Sugar Rush Ride“.
