Djavan Embarks on New Tour Through Brazil.

Djavanwith a 55-year career, is currently on an exciting tour. After a series of shows in United Statesthe talented 74-year-old musician is back on the road, releasing his 25th album, titled “D“. Recently, he landed in São Paulo and presented the public with unprecedented performances, such as the moving “Enlightened“, along with timeless classics including “Fleur de Lis” and “Samurai“.

Newly launched at the end of last year, the “D” brings with it not only the songs from the new album, but also the classics that marked his career Djavanlike “Fate” and “Fleur de Lis“. On stage, the voice and guitar of Djavan will be accompanied by a talented team, composed of Marcelo Mariano on bass and vocals, Felipe Alves on drums, João Castilho on guitar, guitar and vocals, Paulo Calasans on piano, keyboards and vocals, Renato Fonseca on keyboard and vocals, Jessé Sadoc on trumpet , flugelhorn and vocals, and Marcelo Martins on saxophone, flute and vocals. It will be an unmissable spectacle.

Djavan's “D” tour began touring the country in March this year and will visit 49 other Brazilian cities, in addition to Manaus. The repertoire, made up of approximately 20 songs, will include songs from the latest album, such as “Num Mundo de Paz” and “Iluminado”, as well as hits from all stages of the singer's career. Djavan highlights that songs like “Sina” and “Flor de Lis” are guaranteed to be present at all shows, as they are loved by the public. The biggest challenge in creating a new show, according to him, is creating a balanced and diverse script that maintains energy and fluidity from start to finish, connecting the audience. In rehearsals, they are looking for a format that combines the happy and sunny atmosphere of “D” with the old hits, resulting in a great sound diversity.

Tickets for Djavan's “D” tour are now on sale from this Sunday, May 28th. The artist from Alagoas has a date set to return to Manaus, which will be on August 3rd, at Studio 5. If you're eager to check out the singer's new show, you can plan now. Tickets can be purchased at the Oba Tickets centers at the Manauara and Millenium shopping malls, in addition to the website. Sales at physical points start at 9am at Millenium and at 10am at Manauara. Through BaladaApp, tickets will be available from 2pm. The show in Manaus will feature three sectors in the Studio 5 Pavilion: Mesas Ouro, Mesas Prata and Frontstage.
