Doja Cat releases new single and surprises fans with controversial hints

Continuing her newest musical era, Doja Cat released this Friday (04) the track “Paint The Town Red”. The singer is not in a good phase of her career, especially when it comes to her relationship with her fans, but apparently Doja is not at all worried about cleaning up her image at the moment.

In the new track, the singer emphasizes that she doesn't need a new fan or a big feat to be big. “I don't need a new fan because my love likes me a lot, I don't need a big feat or a new help / I don't need a new fan because my love likes me / I don't need to wear a wig to make you like it”, says the girl in another verse from her new album, which will be released in 2023.

On social media, internet users managed to capture several other Easter eggs hidden in the lyrics. Regarding the excerpt mentioned above, fans interpreted it as a hint from the singer to her own fans after the episode of the argument with them on social media at the end of July. At the time, Doja even called her fans “idle” and even motivated them to stop following her and deactivate their fan clubs.

Indirect to Satanism

Fans, very perceptive, discovered another possible new hint from the singer to a specific episode in her career. In this case, it was the moment when Doja shaved her head a few months ago, and later, some statements from the singer about feeling “free” because she no longer needed to wear wigs.

In other moments of the song, which follows the single “Attention”, the singer repeats a few times: “She is the devil.” This moment caused some people to interpret it as if Doja was mocking the most recent accusations about being involved with Satanism.

Despite all the controversy surrounding the new single, several internet users praised the song, even though they are a little wary of the singer due to the most recent facts surrounding her career.

After the latest controversies, many people are not keen on seeing Doja anytime soon.
