Double Cover of Vogue and Reveals New Album!

British singer Adele, 33, is making a comeback to the music scene after almost six years of waiting on the part of her fans, who have already had a taste of the artist's new era. Last Tuesday (05), Adele released a snippet of the first single from her new album, which will be titled “30”, following the classic style of the previous ones. “Easy On Me” will be officially released next Friday (15) and its short teaser, just 21 seconds long, has already surpassed the 9.6 million views mark on YouTube. Continuing to promote her new project, Adele makes history and simultaneously appears on two covers of Vogue: American and British.

In an interview with one of the most respected magazines in the world, the singer addressed several subjects such as her album, her physical changes and, mainly, about looking more at herself. Unlike her previous albums, Adele states that “30” will talk more about herself. “I have to actually write about myself now,” she says, seriously. “So instead of being like, ‘You bastard,’ I talk about myself.”he added, bursting out laughing.

“I feel like this album is about self-destruction. Then self-reflection, and then some kind of self-redemption. But I feel ready. I really want people to hear my side of the story this time.”detailed Adele.

The artist also claims that such a project was made for her son. “My son has a lot of questions. Really good questions, really innocent questions, that I just don’t have an answer for,” start. “I just felt like I wanted to explain to him, through this album, when he’s in his twenties or thirties, who I was and why I voluntarily chose to dismantle his entire life in pursuit of my own happiness. It made him very unhappy at times. And that’s a real wound for me that I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to heal.”

Your album is, above all, about a long self-reflection, not exactly about divorce.. “I thought it was about my divorce, but it kind of wasn’t. Well…” she corrects herself, “This song obviously is.” told. The journalist who heard four songs claims that they all seem to be about his separation. “What follows is the unnerving experience of listening to one of popular music’s greatest and most emotional singers belt out an absolute anthem of relationship failure while she watches the reactions,” he reported.

She recalls how her marriage ended: “It just wasn’t meant to be… It just wasn’t right for me anymore. I didn’t want to end up like a lot of other people I knew. I wasn’t miserable, but I would have been miserable if I hadn’t put myself first. But yeah, nothing bad happened or anything like that.”, “Neither of us did anything wrong. Neither of us hurt each other or anything like that. It was just: I want my son to see me truly love and be loved. That’s really important to me. Ever since then, I’ve been on my journey to find true happiness.”

Regarding her weight loss, Adele says that working out was like an escape valve for her to get through a difficult time of anxiety: “It was because of my anxiety. Working out just made me feel better. It was never about losing weight, it was always about getting strong and having as much time off my phone as possible. I got pretty addicted to it. I work out two or three times a day. I lift weights in the morning and usually go for walks or boxing in the afternoon, and then do my cardio in the evening. I was basically unemployed when I was doing it. And I do it with the help of trainers. It’s not something that’s feasible for a lot of people.”

Adele also commented on her voice and the long hiatus in her career: “When my voice rests, it doesn’t want to come back for a while. I think that’s what happened. The momentum went away. I had shows at Wembley Stadium and cancelling them meant cancelling for 200,000 people. I can't perform if I'm not well, because obviously I had surgery years ago. There was no way I could force it. I was devastated.”
