Dua Lipa confirms romance with Callum Turner after paparazzi snap

After intense speculation, singer Dua Lipa, 28, left no more doubts about her relationship with actor Callum Turner, 33. The two were caught in intimate moments during dinner at a Japanese restaurant in West Hollywood, California, in the United States, on Tuesday night (16), providing the paparazzi with records that confirm the existence of the romance.

Rumors and first public appearance of the couple

Recently, international media outlets reported that the singer appeared to have revived her love life with British actor Callum Turner. This perception arose after she was observed in a close atmosphere during the premiere of the new drama series from Apple TV+ titled “Masters of the Air”, in which Turner plays the role of “Major John Egar”.

Confirmation came last Tuesday night, where Dua Lipa and Callum Turner made their first public appearance as a couple. The singer, known for hits like “Levitating”, opted for an all black look, while the actor complemented the look with a black jacket, white t-shirt and gray pants. The couple pleased the paparazzi with the intimate moments in which they were seen smiling, exchanging hugs and kissing.

Turner was in a relationship with Vanessa Kirby, known for her role in “The Crown”, from 2016 to 2017. On the other hand, Dua Lipa was recently spotted with talk show host Trevor Noah and later rapper Jack Harlow , after the end of her two-year relationship with model Anwar Hadid. It is worth remembering that Dua Lipa ended her relationship with Romain Gavras last December, after an eight-month union, with the main reason being to focus on her musical career.

The artist shared her reflections on the challenges of maintaining a relationship as a public figure in a recent interview with “Rolling Stone” magazine. She considers dating, in general, to be somewhat confusing, highlighting the complexity of going on dates when you are a publicly recognized person. Dua Lipa shared that past breakup experiences made her believe that successful breakups were new to her, learning valuable lessons from such experiences.

The singer's comments appear to refer to the end of her relationship with Frenchman Romain Gavras, 42, son of renowned film director, Costa-Gavras. In addition to personal challenges, Dua Lipa, known as the star of Houdini, is working on her third album, which promises a more “raw” approach and will be inspired by successful bands such as Massive Attack, Primal Scream, Moby, Gorillaz, Blur and Oasis, exploring the orbit of psychedelic pop.
