Ed Sheeran and Selena Gomez Pay Tribute to Taylor Swift at Awards

Last Monday (27) took place at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles in the United States, the awards iHeartRadio Music Awards and brought together great artists.

And the big name of the awards night was singer Taylor Swift, who took to the event stage to receive the special award for “Innovative”, But before receiving the award, Taylor Swift was surprised by messages from her colleagues displayed on the event's big screen. The messages came from Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran, Justin Timberlake and Dolly Parton, who expressed all their affection for the artist.

“Being an inspirational role model is not something you seek, it is something you have within you. And I believe this is Taylor,” said Selena Gomez.

It's worth remembering that the year 2023 is Taylor Swift's year. The singer who is traveling across the United States with the apotheotic tour “Ages”, has received several honors and recognition from co-workers, the last honor being at the awards iHeartRadio Music Award.

Taylor Swift received the special award from another friend who also attended the award, Phoebe Bridge. And in his acceptance speech, Taylor spoke about innovation in art and the process of building his artistic career.

“I've never woken up in the morning and thought, 'Do you know what I'm going to do today? I'm going to innovate on some things. But what I did was try to make the right decision for me at the time, regardless of whether it had been done successfully before. I really want everyone to know, especially young people, that the hundreds or millions of stupid ideas I've had are what led me to my good ideas. You have to give yourself permission to fail. I try as hard as I can not to fail because it's embarrassing, but I give myself permission and you should too. So take it slow and just make the right choices that feel right to you.”

The awards ceremony also featured performances by Lenny Kravitz, Kelly Clarkson and P!nk.
