Ed Sheeran, the “perfect”crooner has announced his Performance at NFL 2021 Kickoff Experience in Tampa. Following the league announcement on Friday, August, 6, that the pop artiste would be making an opening appearance at the league final game.


Ed Sheeran also shared a video teaser, seated on a couch with Dallas QB Dak Prescott and Bucs QB Tom Brady’s jerseys hanging on a rack behind him.

The video was captioned:


“Someone sent me these jerseys and now this is happening…”


In the background of the video made by Ed Sheeran, the NFL theme song could be heard playing. This went on every time he cracks open the lid of his guitar case. This is to confirm the announcement made by the hosting company for the football game.


The game is set to kick-off on September 9 for the upcoming NFL season. On that day, the game will be between the Dallas Cowboys and the defending Super Bowl champs the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.


According to the press release from the league, they will commence immediately at noon ET at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park and feature football-themed interactive games, photo opportunities and other activities throughout the day.


Subsequently, a portion of Ed Sheeran’s performance which is slated for 7 p.m. ET will air on NBC during the NFL Network’s pregame coverage.
