Eldest daughter Elon Musk – One of Elon Musk’s eight children has filed an application in a Los Angeles court to no longer have to be called Musk. According to the L.A. Times, Vivian did so in April, a few days after her eighteenth birthday.
The name change also revolves around the first name of the eighteen-year-old, who is transgender and therefore also wants to be called Vivian in her passport.

In the petition, she mentions her gender identity and that she “no longer wants to be connected in any way” with her biological father reasons for her request for a new first and last name.
Although it is not clear what went wrong between Musk and his child, the Tesla founder came under fire in 2020 by two tweets in which he said he stood behind transgender people, but found the changing pronouns “an aesthetic nightmare”.
Vivian is the daughter of Musk and Justine Wilson and wants to use her mother’s last name from now on. Musk and Wilson had six children together.
Their first son Nevada died in 2002 when he was ten weeks old. In 2004 Vivian and her twin brother Griffin came into the world. Triplets Kai, Saxon and Damian followed two years later. Musk also has two younger children with singer Grimes.
