Eurovision Song Contest winner as predicted is ITALY
Italy won the 65th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday evening in Rotterdam Ahoy. The Netherlands finished in 23rd out of 26th place with Jeangu Macrooy.
The Italian rock group Måneskin received a total of 524 points. Especially the audience voted en masse for Italy. France and Switzerland finished in second and third place. The top 10 is further filled by Iceland, Ukraine, Finland, Malta, Lithuania, Russia and Greece.
With Birth Of A New Age, Jeangu was unable to convince the professional juries and viewers at home. The singer received 11 points and 0 points from the professional juries from the audience. Stefania from Utrecht, who competed on behalf of Greece, scored better with her tenth place.
