The Ukrainian Eurovision winner Jamala and Member of Parliament Pieter Omtzigt are guests in the new season of College Tour. Entrepreneur Lex Hoefsloot is also questioned by presenter Twan Huys and a room full of students.

Jamala, who won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2016 with the song 1944, is currently touring Europe to draw attention to the war in her country. In recent months, she has visited several national finals in various countries to perform and talk about the war.

During her episode, Ukrainians will also be in the audience.

Independent MP Omtzigt will talk about the recent turbulent years in his political career. For example, he got stuck in the allowances affair, he left the CDA after the note with ‘function elsewhere’ leaked and he struggled with a burnout.

His episode will be recorded at the University of Twente in Enschede.

Earlier it was announced that presenter Tim Hofman, former skater Ireen Wüst and president Christine Lagarde of the European Central Bank are guests in the new season.

The first episode, with Hofman, will be broadcast on Sunday 24 April.

A week later it’s Jamala’s turn. The broadcasts can be seen every Sunday at 20.20 hours at KRO-NCRV on NPO2.
