Exes Van Dongen and Loeb play each other

Sports reporter Milan van Dongen and comedian Lisa Loeb were by chance each other’s opponents in The Smartest Manon Tuesday night . During the broadcast it emerged that the two quiz contestants once had a relationship with each other.

The two didn’t know about each other that they would compete and compete against each other. The editors of the quiz program were also not aware of this, they tell the AD.

The ESPN host and comedian had a relationship about a decade ago, which lasted about six months. “I had prepared for a lot of things, but not that I should be playing against my ex-lover,” Van Dongen told presenter Philip Freriks.

Both Van Dongen and Loeb are now married.
