film grosses US$50 million and wins critics!

Since its release in theaters, the film “Talk to me” has been attracting public attention. The new horror from production company A24 is directed by brothers Michael and Danny Philippou and has already grossed almost US$50 million at the box office around the world. In the United States, production did not fall by more than 40% and totaled US$37.3 million. On the international scene, the film totals US$8.8 million, totaling a worldwide gross of US$46.1 million

The film achieved a 95% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and became one of the most critically received productions in recent times, with praise for the actors and visual effects. It is worth remembering that the film had a budget of US$4.5 million, which means that it already accumulates more than ten times the value of its expenses.

An electrifying plot

The production follows the story of a group of friends who get together at parties and at one of them end up discovering a mysterious embalmed hand that allows them to summon spirits. The drinking rituals become routine and they get excited about the new game. On the anniversary of mother's deathMia (Sophie Wilde) he seeks a distraction and proposes to participate in the meeting, but, by accident, one of his friends ends up opening a door to the spiritual world and makes everything take a more dangerous turn. Now, everyone is more unprotected from terror threats. Each of the young people will have the difficult task of choosing whether to trust the dead or the living.

The cast

In addition to the start of the owners of the YouTube channel RackaRacka in a directorial role, the film also marks the debut of actress Sophie Wilde as a protagonist on the big screen. In addition to her, the production also features names such as Joe Bird, Otis Dhanji, Alexandra Jensen, Miranda Otto, Alexandria Steffensen, Marcus Johnson, Chris Alosio and Zoe Terakes.
