Final Fantasy XIV – After the release of Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, the newest expansion of Square Enix’s MMORPG, the success was so great that Square Enix decided to suspend sales of the digital version of the game over the next few days.

With so many people buying the game and logging in to play, huge queues are forming to access the servers, especially during peak hours. Because of this, Square Enix announced the temporary suspension of sales of Final Fantasy XI Starter Edition and Complete Edition.

Additionally, Free Trial players cannot log in outside of the late night and early morning hours, and new registrations for the Free Trial have also been suspended.

Collector’s Edition digital upgrades and expansions will continue to be available to current players so they can upgrade as needed.

It was also reported that due to the long waiting time for players to log in to the game, an additional 14 days will be provided to the subscription for everyone who owns the full version of the game and has an active subscription until December 21st.
