FIST – Distributor Microids has announced that it will release FIST: Forged in Shadow Torch for Switch in Q3 2022, along with physical versions for this version as well as those for PS4 and PS5.

Developed by TiGames, the game was originally released for Sony consoles in September 2021, followed by PC on Steam in October and Epic Games Store in December. In Japan and Asia, it is already possible to buy the game on physical media.

Six years ago, after the animals of Torch City were defeated by the invading Robotic Legion in the Resistance War, a former Resistance soldier, Rayton the rabbit, lived quietly. By imprisoning a friend, he had no choice but to put up his huge metal fist and fight back against those who oppress him. Little did he know, however, that he would soon be embroiled in a maelstrom of conspiracies involving the Legion, the Resistance, and the Rat Gang.

Players will be challenged by dozens of different enemy types, each mastering their own weapons and combat methods, all working together to take the player down. Diverse bosses have their own unusual fighting styles, providing a new and unique gameplay experience.

The game’s dieselpunk aesthetic was inspired by diesel combustion engines, and is integrated with an eastern cityscape of a bygone era to give Torch City a unique visual feel. The stark contrast between furry animals and cold mechanical soldiers reveals the conflict in the game’s story.
