Flamengo overcomes Goiás and wins again in the Brasileirão

O Flamengo won the Goias by 2 to 0 on the night of this Wednesday, 10th, at Maracanã, for the fifth round of the 2023 Brazilian Championship. Pedro (penalty) and Everton Ribeiro (by the letter), the red-negro had enough performance to emerge victorious in the match.

With the result, Fla won its second victory in the current edition of the Brasileirão, ending a sequence of three defeats in the competition. Coach’s team Jorge Sampaoli moved away from the relegation zone and climbed to 12th place. Esmeraldino already parked in the three points, in 18th position.

The teams return to the field for the sixth round of the Brazilian Championship next weekend. On Saturday, the 13th, at 4 pm (Brasília time), Flamengo will visit bahia, at Arena Fonte Nova. On Sunday, the 14th, at 6:30 pm, Goiás receives the Botafogoin Serrinha.
