After the recent death of Taylor Hawkins, the band Foo Fighters releases the first official photograph without the presence of the drummer. Members Dave Grohl (vocalist), Nate Mendel (bassist), Pat Smear (guitar), Chris Shiflett (guitar) and Rami Jaffee (organ) appear in the image that marks the band's return, after Hawkins' death in May this year. The band is reuniting in London to dedicate a performance in honor of the late member.
The image was captured by Danny Clinch, this Tuesday (30), in preparation for the show in England. On social media, the photographer comments on the emotion of the moment, due to the circumstances. “Honored to be a part of this Foo Fighters Family Celebration for Taylor Hawkins. It's been an exciting and incredible few days so far. It will be epic at Wembley,” he said.

The presentation is scheduled for September 3, 2022, in London, at Wembley Stadium. In addition to Foo Fighters, the show will feature other guests who played in honor of their friend, such as Liam Gallagher, Travis Barker, Brian Johnson, John Paul Jones, Brian May, Ke$ha, Mark Ronson, Greg Kurstin, Roger Taylor , Rufus Taylor, Luke Spiller, Lars Ulrich, Wolfgang Van Halen and other artists. But most of all, Taylor's son, 16-year-old Shane Hawkins, will take the stage to play in his father's honor.
In addition to England, the group has also prepared a show in Los Angeles, for September 27th, and will feature many of the artists mentioned, Alanis Morissete, Miley Cyrus, Stewart Copeland, Joan Jett, Pink and others. In Brazil, the tribute will be broadcast live, starting at 12:30 pm (Brasília time), on Pluto TV. However, only from September 4th (Sunday) will the recording of the event be available on Paramount+ streaming.
