Today (14) the most special night in Latin music takes place, the 25th edition of the Latin Grammy Awards, a traditional award that honors singers, composers and other professionals in the music industry in Latin America. The premiere began at 3pm, broadcast on the official Latin Grammys channel on YouTube, and the main ceremony takes place from 9pm Brasília time, directly from the Miami Beach Convention Center, in the United States. In Brazil, transmission takes place through the BIS channel and Globoplay streaming.
Best Urban Music in Portuguese
Competing for awards with big names in Brazilian music such as Anitta, Pedro Sampaio, Iza and Gloria Groove, “Cachimbo da Paz 2″, a collaboration with Gabriel O Pensador, Lulu Santos and Xamã, won the category of “Best Urban Interpretation in the Portuguese Language”. The feat marks the first Latin Grammy in rapper Xamã's career.
In his speech, Gabriel O Pensador thanked him for the victory and spoke about the importance of music.
