Gavio Arqueiro's Hero faces serious accident

Actor Jeremy Renner, who gave life to the character 'Hawkeye' in the MCU, underwent two surgeries after suffering an accident last Sunday (1st), while cleaning snow on his property located in Washoe County, in the United States. According to his representative, Renner suffered “chest trauma and orthopedic injuries” and remains in condition “critical but stable”, as was reported on Monday morning (2). The county police department did not reveal any further details regarding the circumstances that led to the accident, however it was assured that a team is investigating the case.

According to information from a neighbor of the actor interviewed by TMZ, a Snowcat — a snow removal machine — accidentally ran over one of Jeremy's legs, causing significant blood loss. The actor was helped by another neighbor, a doctor, who applied a tourniquet – a device used to block blood circulation – until paramedics arrived at the scene.

Renner's family spoke out and released a note thanking the medical team for their care, as well as messages from fans hoping for the actor's improvement: “Jeremy’s family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible doctors and nurses who are caring for him, the Truckee Meadows Rescue Team, the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve, and the Carano and Murdock families. They are tremendously impressed and grateful with the love and support coming from his fans.”

The actor has played 'Clint Barton' since Thorwhen he only made a special appearance as one of Agent Coulson's (Clark Gregg) subordinates, but was known worldwide in The Avengers. Also known for his performance in War on Terrora feature film by director Kathryn Bigelow that earned his first Oscar nomination in 2010. He returned to compete for the statuette a year later, this time as a supporting actor in the film Dangerous attraction.
