Several Hollywood stars gathered to celebrate the most acclaimed series of the year at the 76th edition of the Emmy Awards, which took place last Sunday (15). The productions chosen to compete for the award were shown between June 1, 2023 and May 31, 2024.

And of course, before the event, there is always a show of luxurious and shiny dresses chosen by the stars for the red carpet. But to complete the perfect look, you need impeccable makeup and hair. That's why we've selected the biggest trends from Emmy night to inspire you.

Loose hair

This year, many stars are taking risks with loose hair with a center parting, a simple hairstyle that has been dominating Hollywood celebrities, who previously preferred to appear at these events with a beautiful bun.

Selena Gomez, for example, has been rocking the loose, center-parted hairstyle for some time now. At the 2024 VMAs, the singer already appeared with the hairstyle. Other actresses, such as Mindy Kaling, Gillian Jacobs, Greta Lee and Ella Purnell, have also adopted the style.

But for those who think that the hairstyle is the same for everyone, they are mistaken. Even though it is a simple style, the central parting varies depending on the texture of the hair, whether straight or curly, as well as the presence or absence of accessories.

No heavy makeup

Monochromatic makeup is all the rage! Stars like Hannah Einbinder and Susan Watson have ditched the bright colors and embraced a more neutral palette. Einbinder opted for a mauve hue, while Watson opted for a brown suede.

Choosing more neutral colors conveys an appearance of natural beauty, which is very fashionable right now.

Milk nails

And proving once again that simple can be elegant, the stars showed off their milk nails on the red carpet. The new trend features white nails, varying only in the intensity of the color. In addition, there are variations in the finishes, with some adopting the effect glazed discreet, and others with rhinestones, as was the case of Quinta Brunson, who matched her nails to her accessories.

2024 Emmy Awards Highlights

This year, the productions with the most nominations for the award were “Shogun”, with 25 nominations, and the already acclaimed series “The Bear”, starring Jeremy Allen White, competing for 23 statuettes.

“Shogun” made history by receiving 18 statuettes out of 25 nominations.
