Girl or Villain? Mariana Ximenes evaluates Ana Francisca and Gilda Rubião

Twenty years separate Ana Francisca de Gilda, currently 42 years old, she gives the villain in “Amor Perfeito” as much dedication as she did to the girl in “Chocolate Com Pimenta”.

The heroine of the plot Walcyr Carrasco was the actress’s first protagonist, a responsibility she embraced at age 22 and did with mastery. A cheerful and mischievous young woman, Ana Francisca was separated from Danilo (Murilo Benicio), her great love and father of her son Tonico (Guilherme Vieira). After becoming heir to a chocolate factory, she returned to the city willing to take revenge on those who despised her.

“To this day, people comment on Ana Francisca and talk about how the character, at some point in her life, connected with their stories. It’s great to receive this affection”, said Mariana when quoting the plot, currently repeated in “Vale à Pena Ver de Novo”.

She has no ethics, no morals. She takes everything to the last consequences and premeditate crimes, as needed. She’s still going to do pretty heavy stuff,” said the artist.
